Dharma is a partner in our London office. He specialises in commercial shipping problems and regularly advises on disputes arising under bills of lading and charterparties, both on their own and following casualties. He has worked on a number of dangerous cargo and unseaworthy and/or uncargoworthy claims. Dharma is also experienced in marine insurance disputes and international arbitration.
Career
Dharma joined Thomas Cooper as a Partner in 2006. He was admitted as an English solicitor in 2001, after having been admitted to the Singapore bar in 1999. Dharma read law and obtained an LLM at Nottingham University. Dharma speaks conversational Tamil and Malay.
