Michel Ferrer
Expertise
Michel is a member of our shipping group in Paris. He specialises in French maritime law, international trade and CMR disputes. He also advises on road haulage, freight forwarding, aviation transport, liability of classification societies, and general commercial litigation.
Career
Michel joined Thomas Cooper in 2007 and qualified as an Avocat at the Paris Bar in 2002. He has worked for two international shipping law firms and a domestic law firm specialising in insurance and road haulage litigation. Michel lectures at the University of Versailles, Saint Quentin, in French civil law. He studied law at the University of Aix-Marseilles and has a PhD in private law.
