Dani Allan
Expertise
Dani’s work covers most aspects of English Shipping law, in particular charterparty and COA disputes, bills of lading and cargo disputes. She also has experience in maritime personal injury claims as well as road transport claims under the CMR. Dani has thorough experience of litigation in the English High court as well as arbitration (LMAA). Her arbitration experience includes claims in France before the Chambre Arbitrale Maritime de Paris and ICC. Dani's work also involves international trade and commodity matters including GAFTA arbitrations.
Career
Dani joined the firm in April 2007. She is a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales and is registered with the Paris Bar under EC directive 98/5. Dani has practised with international shipping firms in England and France since 1995. She has a law degree from the University of Birmingham, and attended the Southampton University Maritime Law short course in 1998. Dani is fluent in English and French.
